School Holiday Treats

Ka ora everyone,

How fast has this year gone?

We are already at school holidays at the end of this week.

Who needs some inspiration in the kitchen with the babes ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ™Œ

We love school holidays spending quality time with the kids and they get to be at the farm with there nana and poppa who they love being with. Rocco loves the farm is mad on motor bikes so he is in his element.

We have a couple of recipes using Tuapeka Honey ๐Ÿฏ that may help you and to get the babes helping out in the kitchen.

Our breakfast at home is pretty simple, we try and pack in all the kids goodness before they leave to school or heading off roaming for the day.

It keeps them full and we know we have given them the best start to the day.

Smoothies are packed of goodness you can add anything and everything.

This is our favourite that Isabella and Rocco make.

Berry Smoothies

so easy put all ingredients into the processor we have a NutriBullet and it makes 2 full glasses of goodness

1 frozen banana

1 tablespoon Tuapeka Honey๐Ÿ (any flavour for a sweetener)

1 tablespoon hemp hearts ( this is a milk substitute)

1 tablespoon bees pollen

1 1/2 cups of water

Pancakes

1 egg

1 teaspoon sugar

1 cup of flour

1 cup milk ( or to the consistency of batter)

Drizzle over Tuapeka Kamahi Honey ๐Ÿฏ they are too die for and is a frequent dish in our home.

Sticky Honey Soy Chicken

Our home is always filled with kids these holidays Isabella and Rocco will have a tribe with them. With the weather being cold this comfort meal will have all your kids feel full and wholesome.

2 tablespoons sesame seeds

Garlic optional too

Add all the wet ingrediants to a pot heat up till all the sauces blend together. Mix over chicken drum sticks and allow to marinate for a couple of hours (optional). Cook in oven on 180 degrees for 45minutes.

add stir fry veges and rice.

This is mouth watering dish, pretty simple and the babes love it.

If you have any recipes to share we would love to hear from you all.
