Raw Native Kamahi

Raw Native Kamahi

Natural New Zealand native Kamahi honey is gathered from the Kamahi trees from the Glenomaru Valley in the pristine coastal area of the Catlins (more...) in the deep south of the South Island. The Kamahi is a common tree and found in our native New Zealand forests. The Kamahi honey is harvested between November and December.

Light amber in colour it has a smooth creamy texture with a unique intense rich flavour. Our customers say it has a strong distinct taste, hence it is a great sugar replacement for coffee giving it a sweet enhanced flavour. We have had some top chefs in New Zealand requesting our Raw Kamahi Honey to give their dishes a uniquely,  identifiable honey flavour.
